Customization FAQ
Can I use my own decals or designs?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to apply your own temporary, non-damaging decals on any of our items labeled “customizable.” Just make sure they don’t leave residue, scratch, or peel paint. (No glue, glitter, or permanent adhesives, please)​​
How do I send you my custom design files?
Once you’ve selected the rentals you wish to customize, we will send over a design form and Canva link with corresponding dimensions for each item. From there, all you need to do is upload your designs and we will take care of the rest. All customizations must be uploaded and locked 30 days before your event. No refunds are given in the event of late uploads, copy errors/changes, or failure to upload designs.
How far in advance should I book customization?

We highly recommend selecting your customization tier during your initial booking. However, we can add customization services up to 45 days before your event for tiers 1 and 2. Tier 3 requires 60 days notice for customization services.
What if I change my mind after I lock my design?​
​
Once we’ve printed or cut your custom work, it’s locked in — so triple-check names, dates, and spellings before you hit approve. We try our best to catch typos, but we can’t guarantee any form of proofreading!
Does Everything Borrowed offer design services?​
​
Unfortunately, Everything Borrowed does not offer design services at this time. We recommend checking out Etsy, Canva and Pinterest for inspo and templates.
Can I mix DIY and EB customization?​
​
Totally. You can do your own decals on some items and have us handle the rest — as long as your DIY additions are temporary, removable, and non-damaging.
Is there anything EB won't customize?​
​
Unfortunately, Everything Borrowed cannot customize vinyl seating charts. However, clients are welcome to DIY vinyl seating charts if they wish.
Can I reuse my custom vinyl or printed pieces?​
​
Vinyl decals are generally one-time use, but printed signage is yours to keep!
Do I need to remove customizations from my items?​
All of our customization tiers include free removal. However, we ask that all DIY customizations be removed prior to your return.
